At the end of last month we had the pleasure of photographing Natalie and Andy's wedding at the beautiful St Mary's Church in Church Fenton outside Leeds. The church was beautiful and Andy looked very relaxed as he arrived. That didn't stop his Mum giving him a little pep talk while he waited for his bride to arrive.
When Natalie did arrive, accompanied by her father, in a 1950's Rolls Royce she looked just as relaxed and as happy as you can imagine.
The ceremony was a real celebration of two families coming together and of the love that Natalie and Andy have for one another, this was summed up wonderfully in the moment when the Vicar declared that they where husband and wife. I don't think Natalie could have looked more excited if she tried!
After the ceremony the guests all made their way back to the Reception venue, the Holmfield Arms Hotel in Wakefield. On arrival here we managed to sneak Natalie and Andy away for a quick walk in the grounds of the hotel and a chance to capture some individual portraits of the happy couple.
After this we left the happy couple to mingle with their guests and enjoy their wedding breakfast, meanwhile we where busy setting up our mobile studio lighting so that guests could all have their individual and family photos taken during the evening. As ever this proved to be a popular setup with everyone having chance to let their hair down and have some light hearted photos taken!
All that was left was for the happy couple to enjoy their first dance, and to look forward to enjoying the rest of their lives together as Man and Wife.
